Acrylic Paintings
Patte@rustnet.ca
Patte grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan but she has spent most of her life in British Columbia, and the last 40 years in Surrey. She enjoys painting various subjects but her favourites are landscapes, rural settings, and animals. Patte has had paintings in many juried exhibitions, and during August 2009 had her paintings displayed at the White Rock and District Community Arts Council Gallery. Most of her paintings are from travels in western Canada, from the coastal rainforest, the Cariboo, Rocky Mountains and through to the prairies. She prefers to work with acrylics because they are versatile, easy to clean up, and dry quickly.
