Carolynn Doan has been a professional artist for over 15 years. She started her career painting watercolours. Her investigative nature has expanded her portfolio to include pastels, acrylic and oils.  However, she is best known for her watercolour and oil paintings.

Carolynn's background in biology can be seen in the choices she makes when developing ideas for paintings. Her love of nature's diversity of colour, texture and value can be seen in her work.

Carolynn has won awards in several Canadian competitions. She holds the Active status with the Federation of Canadian Artists.

Carolynn's work hangs in private and corporate collections in Canada, Great Britain, U.S.A., and Japan.
